RE/MAX was established in New Jersey in 1985. Over the past 20+ years, the company has experienced consistent growth expanding now to 185 offices across the state and over  3,000 Associates.

For the past two years, RE/MAX of New Jersey was the number one real estate company in the state surpassing top competitors including Weichert and Coldwell Banker.  In 2008, RE/MAX had 23,386 total units (both transaction sides) and over $8.5 billion dollars in total volume sold as reported in the nine New Jersey MLS’s. Previously in 2007,  RE/MAX completed 30,406 total units (both transaction sides) and over $11.6 billion dollars in total volume sold.

RE/MAX of New Jersey has continued to excel within their market place year after year.  In 2002, RE/MAX of New Jersey was awarded the title of Region of the Year by RE/MAX International.  In 2005, RE/MAX of New Jersey was given the Distinguished Service Award. This high honor indicates RE/MAX of New Jersey's special place within the RE/MAX worldwide network.
